第９６回全国高校野球選手権の東東京大会は二十七日、準決勝２試合を神宮球場で行い、二松学舎大付（千代田区）と帝京（板橋区）が二十九日の決勝進出を決めた。二松学舎大付は昨年に続き二年連続、帝京は三年ぶり。二十八日は西東京大会決勝の日大鶴ケ丘と東海大菅生戦がある。　（林朋実）

　二松学舎大付は二回２死満塁で、一年の三口英斗選手が走者一掃の適時二塁打を放つなど５安打で７点を先制。七回には岡田浩輝選手の本塁打で９－２とし、コールドで勝利した。成立学園（北区）は８－１の六回、２死から四球と３安打で得点したが、２点目は走者が三塁を踏んでいないとアウトの判定をされ、反撃が途絶えた。

　帝京は一回、先頭打者の鈴木悠太選手が右前打で出塁すると、連続四球や３暴投で３点を先制。８－３で迎えた八回、小幡陸選手の適時二塁打などでさらに４点を追加し、コールド勝ちした。関東一（江戸川区）は主戦の羽毛田晶啓投手が不調で前の試合に続いて初回で降板。１２－３の八回に池田瞳夢選手の本塁打で１点を返したが及ばなかった。

元県議　危険ドラッグ所持事件　「２年前に使い始めた」

違法成分を含む危険ドラッグ（脱法ドラッグ）を所持していたとして薬事法違反容疑で逮捕された元県議横山幸一容疑者（４１）が、危険ドラッグを「二年前に使い始めた」と供述していることが、県警への取材で分かった。

　県警などによると、横山容疑者は危険ドラッグを使い始めた時期について「二〇一二年冬ごろ」と供述。直前の一二年七月には県議として「脱法ハーブ対策の推進強化を求める意見書」を連名で県議会に提出していた。

　同年十一月ごろから議会を欠席することが増え「うつ病が改善されず、インターネットで調べて気分が上がると知って使い始めた」と理由を話している。その後、使用をやめたが、今年春ごろから頻繁に使うようになったという。

　また、横浜市神奈川区内の短期賃貸マンションで県警に粉末を任意提出した六月二十六日以降も「販売業者から危険ドラッグ約五十袋を十数万円で購入した」と説明している。

大粒も小粒も「甘くて豊作」　伊勢原　ブドウ収穫期迎える

伊勢原市でブドウの収穫が今月末から本格的に始まる。市によると、市内でブドウを栽培している農家は四十五戸で栽培面積は約八ヘクタール。小粒の「デラウェア」、大粒の「巨峰」、さらに粒が大きい藤沢生まれの品種「藤稔（ふじみのり）」を育てている。

　ＪＡいせはら果樹部会ブドウ部長の石井毅（たけし）さん（４９）は「デラウェアも巨峰も今年は豊作。今も十分甘いが、梅雨が明けて太陽が当たると酸度が抜け、どんどん甘くなってくる」と太鼓判。すでに糖度は十九ほどあり、日照次第で二十、二十一ぐらいまで上がりそうだという。

　市内では今月末からＪＡの直売所や小田急伊勢原駅などに並ぶ。また、もぎ取りができる農園もあり、デラウェアは八月一～十五日で一キロ当たり九百円、巨峰は十九日～九月十日で同千二百五十円。問い合わせは、ＪＡいせはら営農経済部＝電０４６３（９３）８１１５＝へ。　（吉岡潤）

むかしむかし、ある山おくに、おじいさんと孫の太郎がすんでいました。
　二人の家のすぐそばのささ山には、人をだましてはよろこぶ、わるいウサギがすみついています。
　そのころは、ウサギのしっぽは長くて大きなものでした。
　ウサギは、この大きなしっぽをじまんにしています。
　ある日のこと、山へ出かけるおじいさんが、太郎にいいました。
「山さいって、ひとはたらきしてくるかのう。太郎、夕方にはかえってくるで、おかゆでもにて待っててくれろ」
「うん」
　太郎はおじいさんを見送ると、おかゆを作るために、なべをあらいはじめました。
　その音に、ウサギが気づき、
「おや？　なべを洗っているのか、ということはめしを作るんだな。じゃあ、めしができるまでねて待つか」
　そういうと、ウサギはゴロッと横になり、グーグーひるねをはじめました。
　さて、夕方。
　おかゆもできあがり、いいにおいがしてくると、ウサギの鼻がピクピクピクッと動き、パッとはねおきて太郎の家へ走っていきました。
　そして太郎にいいました。
「太郎、なにしてるだ？」
「おかゆをにてるだよ」
「うまいんか、そのおかゆってのは」
「そりゃあ、うめえさ」
「なら、ちょびっと食わせてくれや」
「だめだめ、じいさまにおこられる」
「ちょびっとだ、ほんのちょびっとだけだ。おら、おかゆってのを食ってみてえ。ねえねえ、ねえったら」

人生じんせいに眠ねむりの時期じきがある

人間(にんげん)の生活(せいかつ)は目覚(めざ)めと眠(ねむ)りで成(な)り立(た)っている。そのことは、人生全体(じんせいぜんたい)にも当(あ)てはまる。

あなたがもし、とても苦(くる)しくて追(お)い詰(つ)められた状況(じょうきょう)にいるのなら、そんな時(とき)は自分(じぶん)が人生(じんせい)の眠(ねむ)りの時期(じき)にいるのだと思(おも)って、ゆっくりと休(やす)んでみてはどうだろう。

人間(にんげん)は眠(ねむ)りがあってこそ、昼間(ひるま)の活動(かつどう)ができる。

眠(ねむ)りは昼間(ひるま)の活動(かつどう)の英気(えいき)を養(やしな)うオアシスになるが、それだけではない積極的(せっきょくてき)な役割(やくわり)を持(も)っている。たとえば、眠(ねむ)りの間(あいだ)に見(み)る夢(ゆめ)に、それだけで癒(いや)しの効果(こうか)を持(も)っていると言(い)われている。心(こころ)の傷(きず)を夢(ゆめ)という形(かたち)で表現(ひょうげん)し、負(ふ)のエネルギーを消化(しょうか)するからだ。

太平洋戦争と上海のユダヤ難民　丸山直起著

日本で語られるユダヤ人論の多くは、日本人論の鏡像である。島国のなかで自らの共同体性に疑念を抱かぬ日本人と、流浪のなかで意思をもって共同体を構築してきたユダヤ人、という差異の強調は、常に日本人がユダヤ人問題を「他人事（ひとごと）」として認識してきたことを意味する。日本がユダヤ人社会と直接対峙（たいじ）する接点が少なく、西欧を通じて間接的に触れるしかなかったからであろう。
　だが本当にそうだったのだろうか。本書が扱うのは、第２次大戦前夜の日本軍の、上海のユダヤ人社会に対する積極的なかかわりである。著者はイスラエル政治を中心とする中東専門家だが、本書は日本現代史の重要な一面を焙（あぶ）り出す。
　上海には、１９世紀半ばからイラク系ユダヤ人財閥を中心にコミュニティーが確立されていった。西欧でのシオニズムの興隆、ロシア、東欧でのユダヤ人迫害の結果、２０世紀前半にはロシア、東欧起源のユダヤ人の東アジア流入が増加し、ナチス・ドイツ下での大虐殺で大量の難民が中国に流れ込んだ。終戦当時、上海のユダヤ人は２万人を超えていた。
　本書は、開戦前夜、日本軍や財界が、当時の対英米関係の改善を目的として中国のユダヤ人社会に接近していった過程を追う。ユダヤ人の存在を対米勧誘と資金利用の文脈で考える発想は、第１次大戦時の大英帝国がイスラエル建国を約束した発想と同じであり、戦前の日本が当時の西欧列強と共有された枠組みでユダヤ人問題を扱っていたことを意味する。対独同盟が成立し英米が敵国となると、日本軍は政策を一転させて、ユダヤ人を指定地域に隔離した。
　大戦後、新天地を求めてイスラエルに移住を希求する難民と、長年上海に住み着いたユダヤ人商人が中国残留を望みながら国共内戦の過程で同じく上海を追われることになる結果は、ユダヤ人問題の根幹を浮かび上がらせる。ユダヤ人問題といえば「中東での数千年来の宗教対立」という誤解が蔓延（まんえん）しているが、ユダヤ人が世界史のあちこちではじき出されてきた過程に、東アジアも無縁ではない。

中国、8月から著名商標認定・保護の新規定実施

中国の国家工商行政管理総局は、改訂後の「著名商標認定・保護規定」に署名し、すでに公布している。８月から正式に施行される。２００３年４月１７日に公布された規定は同時に廃止された。同総局が９日明らかにしたもの。

この規定によると、「著名商標は中国の関係する公衆によく知られた商標であり、関係する公衆には、商標が付された商品または役務を使用する消費者、上記商品を生産し又は役務を提供する事業者及び販売ルートにかかわる販売者と関係者が含まれる」とされている。

改訂後の規定は計２１条からなる。まず立法の根拠、著名商標の定義、認定の主体と認定の原則を明確にした。次に著名商標の保護を求める当事者の立場から、さまざまなタイプの事案における認定・保護請求の提出および証拠資料の要件について明確に規定した。
