I have dropped this phone a couple of times
already and I only dropped the 3G & 3GS once or twice.
I'll play with it some more and post my findings.

Sony NEX-5 DigiCam

This is for the company however I want to play with it (for a long long time)
My main camera is the Canon 5D. Over the years I have invested in several
expensive 'L' lens and would me a Canon camera avocate but the weight really
kills me. Also worring about someone stealing them again. Yes I had about
$20,000 worth of camera and lenses stolen on our first day in Hawaii several
years ago.

Now this camera is quite revolutionary in it's own class of Digicams.

Take a look at the size difference with the Canon setup.
I used our body scale so it's not 100% accurate however,
the Canon setup 3.8Kg Sony setup .8Kg.

(The picture is taken with my iPhone 4G. It's MegaPixel hype! In low light,
you get to see a mega sized grainy piture. You can't compare the image quality
from a really good lens.

Now the question is... Will the Sony give me satisfactory image in low light.
Also will it cover my wide angle needs as well as my portrait style with the
blurred background that I love so much. The bonus on the Sony NEX-5 is the
HD video recording capabilities. That is another BIG problem I have with my
Panasonic HD video camera's size.

I shall post my conclusion in a few weeks..

Koji's first post!

Aloha to you and thanks for peeking into my mix of Rock, IT , Photography , Hawaii and my kids! I'll try to keep the posts coming and not let it rot in the first couple of month. Just to let you all know that I will be on internet TV next week and this is partly the reason I started this blog. The site link will be posted here when it's live! It's called Kenja.tv. A collection of short video interviews of Japanese / Asia's successful company leaders. We have been selected for reasons I still can't quite understand. Maybe our multi-cultural perception on running a company caught their attention... My hope it that this publicity will take us up to a higher level and show the viewers our integrity for service quality in Japan's IT workplace.
