There was a bit of controversy as some ladies had been told only the purchases at the Concept store would be honored for the 20% rebate on St. Maarten, while others were assured that everything Pandora Murano Glass Beads bought on the islands would be accepted, so I’m not sure what came of that since i only bought from the Concept store there. By the end, the stores sold out of most of their special engraved beads and other items too. My husband fondly called us silver locusts as we swarmed and consumed most of the charms on these islands.

My husband seems to be real lucky as he won one of the last prizes of the night, the teal fascinating Pandora and a bangle! There are also a few Velcro pouches along the interior sides of the box with snap-button closures and zipper which are too small to hold more than a couple charms. There’s also a compartment on the inside lid to hold a receipt maybe?

For me, it’s too small to store my collection but might make a good carrying case for traveling. I’m not a fan of the pull out pouches, it looks cheaply made and not really functional. In Pandora Hearts & Love Charms, it’s a great gift if you need a present for mom and she doesn’t already have the charm, but I would not buy it mainly for the travel case.

While today is not Pandora is primarily an American holiday used to celebrate Pandora tradition and heritage.
