The fact that I have a friend who’s a huge Marvel fan like me. He’s also hella obsessed with you, as well.

Personally, I love the marvel movies. However, I totally get why people wouldn't like them. They can get pretty formulaic and unexciting, as well as massive CGI fests at times. But I like them. You do you, Pewds..

Welp, I personally like some characters not because of their superpower, morals ou anything like that, I think that what atracts me the most is their personalities, backgrounds and their complexity. I dont really care if they are Superheroes or villans, I just like the characters. Thats the mainly reason that I watch some movies, but I have the feeling that even their personalities are getting boring, like (at least my favorite) is kinda always the same, there is very little character development. At least thats what I feel :/ (Sorry for my english, its not good).

Not that I disagree with your points and whatnot, but Naruto was the son of one of the most famous ninja in the world, had some kind of super chi from his mothers bloodline, and a super-powered spirit inside him that made him even more powerful. The whole He had to work so hard falls apart when they reveal that he was already set up to be better then everyone else from birth. If anyone should be the star, it should be Brock Lee. Because HE had no special abilities. He was just pure unadulterated badass-ness. And people don't idolize the powers the characters have. No one idolizes Spider-Man's web-slinging. They idolize his innate goodness, and moral fiber. He runs into danger not because he has powers, but because it's the right thing to do. He puts himself at risk to save others and expects no reward for doing so. Aside from that, yeah. Marvel is kind of overdone for me now. There's been so many movies put out in the last decade, and they pretty much all play out the same. They're predictable cgi fests that I just can't bring myself to be excited for anymore. Also, you missed Blade, blade, blade again, spawn, Elektra, Punisher, another Punisher, and another Fantastic four..
