校庭ではみんなの楽しそうな声が聞こえる。
Everybody seems to be having fun outside.
ゆうこは下を向き、ゴミをほうきで集め、ちりとりにいれた。
Yuuko looks down, collects the trash with a broom and puts it into the dustpan.
ついさっき、クラスのみんなから、一人でそうじをするようにいわれた。
Just now she was told to clean by herself.
「あんどうさん、私たちはやくあそびたいから、そうじやっといてね」
 "Andou-san, we want to play early you know, so make sure you clean"
「先生にばれないように、ちゃんとやっとけよ！」
"Not a word to our sensei and do as you're told"
「きゃははははは」
*laughs*
いつものことだ。いつも、ゆうこはひとり。そうじをするのも。給食をたべるのも。
It's always the same, Yuuko is always alone, even when she's cleaning or eating lunch.
下を向いたゆうこの足もとになみだのしずくがおちて、まるくゆかをそめた。
As Yuuko is looking down, tears slide down her feet and onto the floor, dying it.

ゆうこは体が小さい。声も小さい。足が遅いから、クラス対抗のリレーではいつも負けてしまうし、授業中グループで発表するときは、
下を向いてもじもじするばかり。
Yuuko's body is small. Her voice is not loud enough. She always ends up losing the interscholastic relay races because of her slow feet, so that when 
they do the announcements in class she can't help feeling down.
何をしてもうまくできないから、みんなゆうこのことをじゃま者あつかいする。
As she's not able to do anything right, everyone treats her bad.
ゆうこが、そうじをしているとき、一人の男の子がろうかを歩いていた。
While Yuuko was cleaning up, a boy came running down the corridor.
男の子が歩くと、周りの子どもはさっと道をあけた。
The other kids made way as he ran through.
「あのひと……この前、体育館の窓グラス割ったらしいよ」
"That kid......just now, I heard he was the one who broke one of the gym's windows"
「万引きしてつかまったってうわさ」
"It is said he was caught shoplifting"
「こわ～い……顔もきずだらけだしね。中学生とけんかしたってほんとうかな？」
"How scary......his face is also covered in bruises. I wonder if it's true he likes to fight with middle schoolers"
男の子はひそひそ声のするほうをギロリとにらむと、ろうかをあるいていった。
The boy walked away down the hallway as he gave a nasty look in the direction of the murmuring he heard.
男の子 がふと低学年の教室を見ると、女の子が一人、そうじをしているのが見えた。
Suddenly, as the boy takes a look into the lower grades classrooms, he sees a lonely girl doing cleaning all by herself.
ガラッ！
*Slam!*
いきなりあいたドアに、ゆうこはびっくりしてそちらに目をむけた。
Suddenly, Yuuko turns her eyes towards the open door and gets surprised.
ドアの向こうにいるのは、顔じゅうきずだらけ、金色の髪の毛、左耳にピアスが光る男の子だった。
Over there stood a boy, his face was badly injured, his hair was blond, and a piercing glittered on his left ear.
（この人……きっと六年生のマミヤくんだ。クラスのみんながこわがってうわさしてた。ピアスしてて、金髪で、
けんかがすごく強いんだって。この学校で知らない人はいないんだって……。やだ、どうしよう……またいじめられる……）
(This person... I'm sure it's Mamiya-kun. Everyone in the class have said some scary things about him. His piercing, his blond hair,
the fact that he's really strong at fighting. There's no unknown persons in this school... Oh no, I don't want this, what should I do... why do I get picked on again...)
こわがるゆうこに、金髪の男の子マミヤくんは、ぶっきらぼうにたずねた。
The blond boy, Mamiya-kun, bluntly asks frightened Yuuko:
「そうじひとりでやってるのか？」
"Doing cleaning all by yourself?!"
びくびくしながら、ゆうこはうなずいた。
Even though Yuuko was afraid, she still bowed her head in assentment.
「他のやつらはどこにいった？」
Where's everyone else?
ゆうこはやっぱろびくびくしながら、校庭をゆびさした。マミヤくんは、なるほどねと小さくつびやくと、ゆうこにいった。

「あぁ…おまえハブなんだ」

このドラマをもう一回見てる。今度母さんと見てるね。
そんな悲しい話ですが、アヤちゃんはずっと強くになった、ずっと笑顔してる。

日曜日なのに６時午前で寝むれないよ…
