The London Eye was designed by David Marks and her wife Julia Barfield of Marks Barfield Architects in 1993.<br><br>6. There are 32 capsules in the wheel which are the symbols of London’s 32 boroughs and are numbered 1 to 33, eliminating the no. 13 for good luck. &nbsp;Visitors can see the famous landmarks of London from the 443 feet high from cantilevered observation wheel.<br><br>7.
