Without this piece, the plane will not be stable.

Vertical Stabilizer can be divided into 2 words. They're Vertical and Stabilizer.

Vertical means to be looking upwards. Stabilizer means a machine that stabilizes an object.

One of the main reason why it is important is that it creates more balance and to stabilize the airplane.

Since it is mounted on the top of the fuselage, it creates more lift when the speed is high.

 It makes the plane tilt upwards and decreases speed. 

It will also prevent the aircraft from over speeding and make the plane produce smooth flight.

Aircraft are unlike boats.

They are supposed to fly and not float.

When the rudder is pointing down, it will create more drag and make the plane's speed decrease and make it stall.

If it is on the top side of the fuselage, it will tilt upwards and create more lift.

Personally, I think the vertical stabilizer is the part of the plane I was mostly cirrus about.

My main image of the plane was the wing being horizontal.

I didn't really care about the vertical stabilizer.

But since I have knowledge of it, my image of it has changed and have become an important existence.

 The basic parts of it are the rudder pedal, yoke/side stick, the autopilot knob, throttle, the flap lever, and the engine control. 

The main difference you can find with Boeing cockpit has a yoke which is like a steering wheel and Airbus has a side stick.

The pilots are one of the most important people who are on the plane.

They control the plane in case of an emergency. 

Anyways I think that the pilot and the cockpit is one

of the pilots. They are the pilots of the plane immediately.
The plane won't be able to fly and safely transfer passengers to other countries.

We should appreciate them and respect them when we travel on a plane.

I usually say thank you to the pilot if there is time.

The pilot will always be on a lookout for any problem.

The cockpit will always control the plane.

Today I will talk about the Elevator of the plane.

It is one of the main compartments of the airplane. 

The Elevator is stuck on the fuselage of the plane and it is like a little flap that is stuck on the Horizontal Stabilizer( will explain in a later blog).

The Elevator is on the back of the plane and under the vertical stabilizer.

It is for changing the altitude of the plane by lifting the flap up and down.

By doing this, it is easier to change altitude by not decreasing the speed.


You could control it by pulling the yoke/side stick or to change the knob of the autopilot screen. 

You could see how it works by the flight screen.　

You will experience angle changes when you turn up or down the elevator.

So, that is why when you take off or land, your plane will be always pointing upwards toward the sky.

The next part is the flaps.

The Rudder is one of the main parts of a plane. Every plane has it.
It is the component to steer the plane and change its direction.
Also, it is stuck to the vertical stabilizer that I will explain in a few blogs.

On the final approach, you could side slip then correct the position to line up on the runway.
It doesn’t make the airplane bank to the left or right so much. So it can’t change direction quickly.

The rudder is for little and precise correction.
That is why it moves sideways.

 If you turn the rudder too violently, the rudder and the vertical stabilizer will break off from the airplane.

There is some plane crash because of the malfunction of the rudder. American Airlines flight 587 crashed because the pilot used/turned the rudder to violently and it has torn the vertical stabilizer apart from the aircraft.

The rudder is moved by the rudder pedal on the bottom of the yoke or the electrical displayer.
You could also control it by the autopilot by the angle control.

Today I am talking about my new a380 model.

Do you know the a380?

It is the biggest passenger plane in the world.

The a380 is the original but a380-800 is the biggest plane.

It is made/invented by Airbus.

I like Boeing more than Airbus.

But I like the a380.

This model's airline is Lufhansa.

It is from Germany.

As you can see, this plane has two floors and has 2 engine.

The wing tips are the Airbus's orginal design.

If you see Boeing's wing tip, it is simple than this one.

I really like this model.

Today,the 15 Roald Dahl Books Clollections was delivered.

I ordered this because I really like Roal Dahl's books.

I wanted to read all of the stories he wrote.

It was shiped from England.

It took about 1 week.

Iam very exited to read it!

I started reading "The BFG".

BFG stands for Big Friendly Giant.

The next book I am going to read will be Fantastic Fox.

If I can, I want to summerize what I read in the blog as well.

I highly recomend this set.

It is beacuase Roal Dahl writes very funny,detailed,and specific sentences.

This makes the story make interesting and fun to read.

You should read one of his books.

For the last 3 days I went to my father's office.

It is beacuse my sister and my mother took ballet lesson at Minatomirai.

I was board at the office so I dicided to make something out of wood.

This is what I made...

It is a sighn to tell people that it is my room.

It took me a lot of time.

First I cutted the wood into same length.

Then I sticked them together with super glue.

Lastly I curved letters and colored it.

I like making things out of woods.

It was very fun!

Today I will tell you about day 2,3,4 in this blog.

:Day 2:

This day was a very fun.

First my family went to the shopping mall to buy a carry bag for my sister.

My sister need a new carry bag.

It is because old one is not for her age and she said she wants a new one.

After we bought it, we dicided to plan our dinner before buying food.

We planed to make Dumplings.

Next we played with my cousin at home.

We made a lego base together.

It is very big than I thought it would be.

: Day 3:

Yesterday was a very shocking and a great day.

In the morning my greatgrandmother fell and she got a bruse on her nose.

It was very shoking because she is 91 and she is old.

Everyone was in silence when she fell down.

It was safe because she looked fine a few minutes later.

Thank goodness.

After that, my mom,sister,and my grandmother went to the shopping mall again.

But I stayed home.

I was worried about my great grandmother.

Then, my cousin came to my home and played lego with me.

We ate lunch with my cousin.

After lunch, another cousin visted us.

So we all played together.

It was a very fun day!

:Day 4:

Today my family went to Lake Hamana.

Lake Hamana is a very big lake that is linked with the pacific ocean.

It is located in Hamamatsu.

We ate lunch there.

I ate the meat course.

It was yummy.

When we came home I visited my cousin's house and played there.

We played table tennis.

It was very fun.

Today was the last full day at hamamatsu.

Yesterday I came here by train and shinkansen.

My cousin visited us so I played lego with him.

We made a very big star wars base.

Some ships are from my home.

Every thursday I go to the lesson.

Today I first practiced lifting.

Last year I could only lift the ball for 3 times.

But today I lifted my ball for 9 times!

Next I played tag while dribbling.

This trains your skill of dribbling.

I controled the ball well so I didn't get cought.

Then we did the trainig of team work!

We made plans together to shoot the ball into the goal.

It went well and my teacher said it was well done.

Last we played one game!

My team lost.

But it was very close beacause the enemy had 3 points and my team had 2 points.

But I am still positive.

This was my soccer lesson today!
