Transfer Stringfellow eager for arrival and chan

Transfer Stringfellow eager for arrival and change of scenery

Two time zones away, somewhere below the Seattle Space Needle and always just a block from a Starbucks, Damore'ea Stringfellow still found himself curious on Saturdays as to how that team in Lincoln was faring.

Even as a Washington Husky, the wide receiver would take red bottom shoes a peek at the Huskers. Actually, more than a peek.

"I always watched them," said Stringfellow, who paid particular louboutin replica attention to Quincy Enunwa, who came from the same high school Rancho Verde in Moreno Valley, Calif.

It was more than just a neighborhood bond that drew Stringfellow to Enunwa's game. Watching him was just as much a look into the mirror of what could be.

"We play exactly the same way," the christian louboutin shoes replica 6 foot 3, 225 pound Stringfellow said.

It's perhaps then fitting that as the big bodied Enunwa leaves Lincoln for an opportunity with the New York Jets, the big bodied Stringfellow arrives in what, on paper, appears as one of the more significant transfers the Husker football program has had in some time.

Two days after signing his transfer papers and firing off a "Go Big Red" tweet to make it Twitter official, Stringfellow's enthusiasm couldn't be hidden over the phone.

"I can't wait to go out there and be a part of the team," he said. "I've already talked to Coach (Rich) Fisher about how they go about doing things. I'm extremely excited to get there, just get a start fresh."

Rated one of the top 100 recruits nationally in the 2013 class, Stringfellow is looking for that fresh start after an offseason that included an incident with two Seattle Seahawks fans that occurred the red bottom shoes cheap night of the Super Bowl.

While witnesses in court documents provide varying accounts as to what happened, Stringfellow ultimately pleaded guilty in April to three gross misdemeanor charges. He was sentenced to five days on a work crew, a $693 fine and ordered to attend anger management counseling.

On May 14, new Washington coach Chris Petersen said in a statement that Stringfellow "has decided to transfer to another program." It took only 2 1/2 weeks after that for Stringfellow to name that program.

"There are a lot of distractions out here in Seattle and I felt like I just needed a change of scenery," he said. "I want to get my priorities in order."

He's finishing his last quarter of school in Washington, which ends next week, then plans to arrive in Lincoln in mid July to begin his career as a Husker.

While he will most likely have to sit out this year, he'll have three years of eligibility remaining.

After catching 20 passes for 259 yards and a touchdown as a true freshman, there is still plenty of room for growth in Stringfellow's game. More specifically, they're going to miss his potential potential he will try to realize somewhere else. And, yes, his potential is great. Stringfellow already had the physical presence of an NFL wide receiver last season.

"He quickly established a reputation as a guy not to be messed with in the UW locker room. He was popular and tough. And a tough matchup, too, as he showed in his breakthrough, eight catch, 147 yard, one touchdown performance at UCLA in his first career start. In the future, the hunch here is he'll be a tough matchup for defensive backs in some other conference."

As it played out, Husker coaches received what amounts to a late recruiting reward with Stringfellow, who made an official visit to Lincoln in 2012 to watch Nebraska beat Michigan. He quickly formed a bond with NU's wide receivers coach Fisher.

When it came time to decide, however, Stringfellow picked Washington first and Nebraska second. In recruiting, second is usually worth as much as the lint in your pocket.

But once every great while it matters. This time it mattered.

There were a couple other schools Stringfellow says he thought about when exploring a transfer. Alabama was one of them. But, really, he said it wasn't much of a decision. He didn't need to be recruited a second time. "Nebraska was the first school I called."

Sitting with your friends on the couch fighting

Tecmo Super Bowl

Sitting with your friends on the couch fighting over who would be the Raiders or the Giants, a small fight breaks out. You remind your friend that he got to play as Bo Jackson the last time and he promised the next time you could play as the Raiders. Then he reminds you of that picture he has of you from the sleepover, the one where they dumped water on you so it looked like Cheap Michael Kors Outlet you pissed yourself. Then you sit your ass down and pick the Giants. Ahhh sweet memories indeed.

In a more simplistic time we had only eight plays to choose from, four running plays and four passing plays. There was no audibling out of a play or choosing receiver routes, you had to have balls then. Pick a play and that's it you're stuck with it. This was a great system because everyone can just pick it up and play within minutes. You don't have to cycle through forty to fifty plays which can also be flipped or customize your offensive line before the play. Defense works the same way, four run blocks and four pass blocks. Now if you pick a passing play and the defense picks a run block, you can bet you'll have receivers open somewhere and you'll have all day to pass. Pick a run defense against a run and your defense should stuff them like grandma's turkey. It's, at its core, like a game of rock, paper, scissors except manlier cuz you know, it's Football!

The Super Players

Since Wholesale Fake Sunglasses this is an arcade style game, some athletes here tend to stretch the bounds of what is possible on the field. Some other athletes will have you yelling at your Nintendo and calling this game a cheating whore. Here is a conveniently placed list of these dirty, cheating whores:

Lawrence Taylor Big bad LT will be on your quarterback in a second of hiking the ball. He also has the ability to block extra points and field goals like no one else in the game. Pretty much, if your friend picks the Giants, you're down to picking run plays.

Bo Jackson Tecmo Bo will run over your defense like they're nothing. As soon as he's in the open field he will torch any Fake Sunglasses defender after him. The Raiders are a tough team to play against, it's best to just reset the game if your friend picks them. Although this may cause an argument, as long as it's your Nintendo you can do what you want with it.

Joe Montana and Jerry Rice Tandem They can play pass and catch all day rumbling over any team that gets in their way. To get an advantage over these two, pick the Giants and have LT sack Montana every play.

That's another thing about this game; even when people choose teams with Cheap Michael Kors these players nowadays, with all the debate over the madden attributes for each player being argued, these guys are legends and you can't argue with legendary players. All you have to say is that you're controlling Joe freaking Montana of course I can throw it eighty yards.

The End of an Era

Sadly after so many rehashes of the same game, people switched to Madden in the mid 90s and ended the arcade football era. Although NFL X treme and Blitz went on to sell well, people wanted more realism from their games and Madden delivered it to them year after year. Madden went on to get an exclusive license deal with the NFL and no one is allowed to use NFL teams in their games. We will remember you always Tecmo Super Bowl for the times we shared and for the nostalgia brought back when we hear your name. Oh yeah, XBLA now has Tecmo Bowl Throwback with updated rosters and Graphics but no officially licensed team names. I guess there's always that.

Ranking Top 10 prospects at each position

Ranking Top 10 prospects at each position

Texas A quarterback Johnny Manziel (left) and Louisville Cardinals quarterback Teddy Bridgewater (right) look on during the 2014 NFL Combine at Lucas Oil Stadium on Feb. 23, 2014.(Photo: Brian Spurlock USA TODAY Sports)

The 2014 NFL Draft will be held May 8 10. To prepare, USA TODAY Sports' Brent Sobleski ranks the top prospects at each position, beginning with the quarterbacks and continuing with running backs, wide receivers, tight ends, offensive tackles, guards, centers, fullbacks, defensive tackles, defensive ends, outside linebackers, linebackers, cornerbacks and safeties.

More draft coverage: Draft player comparisons First round picks from AZ

Each NFL franchise's top undrafted player Biggest draft busts of all time

Cardinals best draft picks Wholesale Bags by round Cardinals' first draft picks since 1954

NFL draft central: Mac's mock draft, Coopers' Cardinals draft, videos, moreOnly one tight end the Bengals' Tyler Eifert has been selected in the first round during the past three NFL drafts. Two could possibly be selected during the opening frame of the 2014 draft, while other intriguing talent will be available later. In a league where the Saints' Jimmy Graham is redefining a tight end's role, at least one available option, North Carolina's Eric Ebron, can provide similar match up problems. Here are the top tight end prospects for the 2014 NFL draft:

Highly talented class

Five offensive tackles, including three of the first four overall selections, were chosen in the first round of the 2013 NFL draft. The 2014 offensive tackle class is superior to the previous year's. While only three or four tackles may be drafted in May's first round, the top of the class is highly talented. Auburn's Greg Robinson and Texas A Jake Matthews are considered elite talents and potential Top 5 picks. Either of them, if available, would have gone No. 1 overall a year ago to the Kansas City Chiefs. Here are the top offensive tackle prospects for the 2014 NFL draft:

More than pure Cheap Sunglasses ability

Only once in the past five NFL drafts has a center not been selected in the first round, but that's likely to happen again in May. Although, three center prospects are considered worthy of Day 2 selections. The position is also heavily reliant on a team's offensive scheme. Some teams will prefer certain centers over others due to their level of athleticism or strength at the point of attack. It's a position that relies heavily on multiple characteristics outside of pure ability. Here are the top center prospects for the 2014 NFL draft:

1. Weston Richburg, Colorado State

Former Pro Bowl center and Richburg's trainer, LeCharles Bentley, describes why Richburg is the top center in this year's class. "He's the most pro ready center in the draft, hands down," Bentley told USA TODAY Sports. "Richburg is familiar with having a quarterback under center. He's familiar with shotgun and making declarations at the line of scrimmage. He's already the proverbial leader at the center position. It will expedite the process. He is prepared to be familiar with the process of being an NFL center. He's more prepared with process, technique and cerebral aspect of next level."

1. Trey Millard, Oklahoma

Millard suffered a torn ACL Oct. 26 during a game against the Texas Tech Red Raiders. Millard ran for the first time since the injury in late February. Despite the long recovery process, Millard remains the top fullback in this year's class due to his versatility. At 6 2 and 247 pounds, Millard is viable option to run the football. He averaged 5.5 yards per carry during his career with the Sooners. He displayed soft hands, catching 70 passes. He is also an adequate blocker. Millard's ability to affect multiple Wholesale Cheap Sunglasses areas of the offense makes him a valuable long term option for NFL teams.

2. Jay Prosch, Auburn

Prosch was a critical part of the Tigers' offensive success in 2013, despite his limited skill set. Prosch can be a devastating lead blocker. The Tigers often brought Procsh in motion to become the lead blocker in their version of the veer option. Prosch does have soft hands, but he wasn't often used as a receiver and he didn't carry the ball last season. Prosch is also a very good athlete at 6 1 and 254 pounds. Clowney maintained his status as the No. 1 prospect in draft, despite what was generally perceived as a poor junior campaign. But Clowney isn't the only highly talented defensive end available in May's NFL draft. Missouri's Kony Ealy is projected as a first round prospect, and Notre Dame's Stephon Tuitt could also slide into the opening frame. NOTE: The pass rushers are split. This installment features those prospects better suited to be 4 3 or 3 4 defensive ends. Here are the top defensive end prospects for the 2014 NFL draft:Up until draft day, there will be conversations around the NFL that will go something like this: Who is the better player, Buffalo's Khalil Mack or UCLA's Anthony Barr? Both are top notch talents worthy of being selected in the Top 10 and maybe Top 5. The conversation is really about upside versus polished play. Barr converted from running back to outside linebacker, and he has only two years of experience at the position. During that time, Barr registered 41.5 tackles for loss and 23.5 sacks. Mack, meanwhile, will leave the Bulls tied with the most tackles for loss (75) in major college football history. Each has their strengths and weakness. They differ greatly as players. But either one will help a team in need of an outside linebacker that can provide a pass rush. Here are the top 3 4 outside linebacker prospects for the Wholesale Handbags 2014 NFL draft:The role of linebackers in the NFL has changed. Even for the ones who play in the middle, or on the outside of more conservative 4 3 schemes. Teams aren't searching for the rough and tumble run stuffers that can blow up a fullbacks in the hole and still tackle the oncoming running back. The league now prefers highly athletic and instinctive linebackers than can run sideline to sideline and play in space. The advent of offensive friendly passing rules and the prominence of highly athletic tight ends make a linebacker's job tougher than it has ever been. If a team can find a three down linebacker, it's a truly precious commodity. And there may be multiple in this year's draft class. Here are the top linebacker prospects for the 2014 NFL draft:

Ranking the Top 5 Cornerbacks in NFL History

Ranking the Top 5 Cornerbacks in Wholesale Cheap Sunglasses NFL History

They are completely alone, on an island, and can go the entire game without being noticed. In fact, not being noticed at all means they played a great game. They can play 60 defensive plays a game, but make one mistake out of those 60, and everyone notices, and everyone will point the finger at them. Perhaps no other position on the field goes from being so unnoticed, to so scrutinized in a single play. NFL cornerbacks, along with safeties, are often the last line of defense on running plays, and must also cover a large amount of field following elite wide receivers. At an immediate disadvantage because they have no idea of where the play is going, they rely upon instincts, speed, guile, guts, a gambling nature, and in some cases pure speed. Who are the 5 greatest players to ever play cornerback in the NFL? 5) Mel Blount: Pittsburgh Steelers 1970 1983

5 Time Pro Bowler 6 Time All Pro Hall of Fame NFL Defensive Player of the year 75th Anniversary All Time Team 4 Time Super Bowl Champion Career interceptions: 57 Coming in at 5 is a tall, well built cornerback standing 6 feet 4 inches and weighing over 200 lbs. A member of the vaunted "steel curtain" defense, Mel Blount was a fixture of the 4 Super Bowl victories and Pittsburgh's dynasty of the 1970's. Able to physically abuse any receiver he lined up against, Mel Blount was more of a safety playing corner and used his size and strength to great advantage. Mel Blount played at a time when the rules for cover corners were much more lenient than today's NFL. He took advantage of that , and used his size and stature to physically dominate receivers. However, for playing at a time when corners could bend the rules, he simply doesn't rate any higher than 5 on our list.

9 Time Pro Bowler 5 Time All Pro Hall of Fame Wholesale Bags Defensive Rookie of the Year 75th Anniversary All Time Team 1980's All Decade Team 1 Time Super Bowl Champion Career Interceptions: 46 Standing tall at 6 feet 2 inches and over 195 lbs, Mike Haynes had all the attributes of Mel Blount, but with greater speed. A fantastic cover corner with great range and one on one covering abilities, Haynes could play man to man or zone, and not miss a beat. Always matched up against the opposing teams best wide receivers, you rarely heard of Haynes during games a testament to how well he was playing. He was the Defensive Rookie of the Year in 1976 for the New England Patriots, and took his show on the road when he went to the Raiders and helped them win a Super Bowl.

3) Rod Woodson: Pittsburgh Steelers 1987 Wholesale Sunglasses 1996, San Francisco 49ers 1997, Baltimore Ravens 1998 2001, Oakland Raiders 2002 2003

11 Time Pro Bowler 8 Time All Pro Hall of Fame Defensive Player of the year 75th Anniversary All Time Team 1990's All Decade Team 1 Time Super Bowl Champion Career Interceptions: 71 Playing an unbelievable 17 years in the NFL, Rod Woodson holds the record for Pro Bowl appearances for a cornerback. A perennial pro bowl corner his entire 17 year career, he combined finesse, speed, hitting and coverage to blanket the receivers he covered. He holds the unique distinction of being the only player to make the Pro Bowl as a kick returner, cornerback and safety. He was the second fastest man in the NFL losing to this lists 1 cornerback Darrell Green in 1988.

2) Deion Sanders: Atlanta Falcons 1989 1993, San Francisco 49ers 1994, Dallas Cowboys 1995 1999, Washington Redskins 2000, Baltimore Ravens 2004 2005

8 Time Pro Bowler 8 Time All Pro Defensive Player of the year 1990's All Decade Team 2 Time Super Bowl Champion Career Interceptions: 53 Yes, he wasn't much of a tackler and didn't do much on run support, but Deion Sanders was perhaps the greatest pure cover corner the NFL has ever seen. He had the speed to close on any receiver, and would often bait quarterbacks into making throws to receivers that looked open, only to close the gap immediately and intercept the ball. A two sport star, and phenomenal all around athlete, Deion was more of a hired gun during his NFL career. A fantastic baseball player, he often went from one end of the country to another, playing both football and baseball. In fact, he is the only player to have ever played an NFL game on Sunday, and later played a MLB baseball game later that afternoon. He would excel in man to man coverage and completely blanket any opposing teams top receiver. He used a rare and unique stance when defending receivers. He would leave his legs wide, but immediately be able to pivot, turn on a dime, and close distances in an instant. This approach gave opposing offenses fits, and they typically gave up on passing anywhere near Sanders.

1) Darrell Green: Washington Redskins 1983 2002

7 Time Pro Bowler 4 Time All Pro Hall of Fame 4 Time NFL's Fastest Man Only Multiple winner of the NFL's Fastest Man and the only one never to lose a race 1990's All Decade Team 2 Time Super Bowl Champion 19 straight seasons with at least 1 interception Career Interceptions: 54 For playing at a high level for 20 years, and for consistently covering the NFL's greatest receivers throughout the 1980's and 1990's, Darrell Green holds down the 1 spot on the NFL's greatest cornerbacks in History. Simply put, nobody was faster than Darrell Green. He beat them all, from Rod Woodson, to Eric Dickerson, Tony Dorsett, and even Carl Lewis (in college), nobody could catch Darrell Green, but he could catch anyone regardless of their head start. Aside from his speed, he was a miniscule 5 feet 9 inches and only 184 pounds and an incredible cover corner. He helped on run support, and was a phenomenal punt and kick returner. Darrell Green had Rod Woodson's longevity, Deion Sander's closing speed, Mike Hayne's quickness, and the toughness of Mel Blount. He could do it all, and if not for playing on some extremely average teams during the 1990's in Washington, he clearly would have made more Pro Bowls. Regardless, he was the complete package and did it longer than anyone in the history of the NFL.

While anyone can argue one over the other, Wholesale Handbags it's impossible to argue that Darrell Green's 20 years in the NFL is worthy of the 1 position all time. To play the game that long, and at that high a level, is a testament to his conditioning and heart. Darrell Green is the oldest cornerback ever to return an interception for a touchdown and the oldest ever to play the game.

Related ContentTop 10 NFL Cornerbacks of All TimeFive Best Cornerbacks in NFL HistoryNFL Unveils Hall of Fame Class of 2008National Football League (NFL) Hall of Fame Member Statistics Defensive Backs (DBs)The Five Greatest Cornerbacks in the NFLNFL Hall of Fame Announces Its Class of 2009; Bruce Smith and Rod Woodson Lead the.2009 NFL Hall of Fame Inductees

Tebow's 316 Passing Yards Evokes Bible Verse

Tebow's 316 Passing Yards Evokes Bible Verse

It would have been more than enough for the polarizing Denver Broncos quarterback to simply lead his underdog team to victory over the Wholesale Fake Sunglasses Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday in the AFC wild card game. And Tim Tebow did, thanks to his 80 yard touchdown pass on the first play of overtime that left the Steelers and the watching world simply stunned.

But then the facts and figures emerged, and the Internet verily exploded: Tebow threw for exactly 316 yards in the 29 23 upset win, presenting an eerie Michael Kors Outlet allusion to the Bible John 3: 16 passage whose number Tebow famously wore in the black under his eyes when he led the Florida Gators to victory in the 2009 collegiate national championship game. What more, that event took place exactly three years ago on the same day as his latest miracle comeback. And that wasn it for the coincidences: Tebow set an NFL playoff record with, you guessed it, 31.6 yards per completion and the TV rating on CBS peaked between 8.00 8.15pm ET with a rating of, say it ain so, 31.6.

A cursory glance at Google Trends hot searches Monday morning presented three of a kind: the top trio were, in order, the 3: 16 passage ( God so loved the world that he Cheap Replica Sunglasses gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life followed by Tebow and Tim Tebow.

So Tebowmania is somehow getting bigger. We been down this road before, of course, but surely nothing can match these twin events, right? Could Tebow Broncos manage to pull off a win next weekend against the New England Patriots who not only will be a heavier favorite than the Steelers but also schooled Denver in the regular season? If so, then surely only God (or, to dial back the hyperbole, Aaron Rodgers or Drew Michael Kors Cheap Brees) will be able to stop Tebow from winning the Super Bowl. For now, he is working in mysterious ways. (Via CNN.)

of the People's Republic of China are specific

of the People's Republic of China are specific areas associated with one or more ethnic minorities that are designated as autonomous within the People's Republic of China (PRC). These areas are recognized in the PRC's constitution and are nominally given a number of rights not accorded to other administrative divisions. The actual degree of autonomy of such regions is questioned. This is not true for other provinces, which can pass legislation without such prior approval. For this reason, it cheap nfl jerseys has been contended that Autonomous regions are in fact "less autonomous."[1]Although not named as autonomous areas, some third level settlements and areas that are identified as county level cities and county level districts enjoy the same autonomy as autonomous areas. At the fourth ("township") level, 1 ethnic sumu (the Evenk Ethnic Sumu) and over 270 ethnic townships also exist, but are not considered to be autonomous and do not enjoy the laws pertaining wholesale jerseys to the larger ethnic autonomous areas.
