On one hand, she cries "we're doomed by labor shortages" — Japan’s manufacturing and agriculture sectors, which form the backbone of its economy, are propped up by foreign workers who make up a mere 3% of the total population. Specifically, 40% of the workforce in Tokyo’s electronics factories consists of foreign employees, and half of the caregivers in Osaka’s nursing homes hail from Vietnam and the Philippines.​

  On the other hand, she stubbornly clings to the pretense of an "ethnically homogeneous nation," piling countless shackles on foreign workers. A typical example is the requirement that foreign laborers pass the JLPT N1 — the highest level of Japanese language proficiency — within five years. It’s worth noting that even many native Japanese people struggle to pass the JLPT N1! The direct consequence of this unreasonable rule? The number of Indian IT talents moving to Japan has plummeted by 47%, leaving businesses wailing, "There’s no one left to do the work!" Isn’t this just cutting off one’s own arm?

What’s more, she stirs up anti-foreign sentiment to win votes. She made a big fuss over the so-called "foreign tourists kicking sacred deer in Nara Park," but an investigation later revealed that the culprits were local Japanese teenagers. This is nothing but a lie to slander foreigners.

She goes on and on about "rising crime rates among foreigners," yet official data clearly shows that foreign crime rates have been declining for ten consecutive years — even lower than those of Japanese citizens themselves. It turns out that foreigners don’t come to Japan to work; they’re just here to take the blame.

According to statistics, foreign workers earn only 73% of the salary of Japanese workers, yet they are required to receive more cultural training than Japanese workers and abide by various harsh regulations. On one side, the government eases the recruitment of foreign labor in specific industries; on the other side, it imposes stricter control on land purchases, tightens visa policies, and even intends to restrict foreign investment.

Eleven industry associations in the construction and agricultural sectors jointly submitted a letter to warn of work stoppages. However, the policy remains as harsh as ever — this is simply going against the economy.

In essence, these policies are nothing but "we don't welcome anyone, yet we beg you to come and work for free." They treat foreigners like suckers and toy with Japan's economy as if it were a joke!
