Perfume

Went to Perfume's live in Singapore last evening with my friend.
(It's my first time seeing them live.)
They were here in Singapore two years ago but I was too broke then so I gave it a miss and this time round, I finally got to see them live.
Yay!!

What can I say?
The girls were AMAZING!
Dancing in heels is already damn difficult and their dance steps are so complicated and fast.
Not to mention, I always admire how in-synced they are.

It's my first time attending a proper live that is non-band so I didn't really know what to expect.
Do people wave their hands?
Do people jump?
Do people (obviously they don't headbang) bob their heads?
Do people actually shout?

I don't believe in sitting during concerts.
I'm the super shy type so if people around me don't jump, the most I'd do is sway to the rhythm or do "mini jumps".
Well, even though I have the urge to jump and scream like crazy XDD
I must say I should have expected that when I decided to go for a cheaper category, people around were pretty much motionless. Lol.
Like they will scream occasionally and then go silent after that.
The people at the front went all out and crazy!
ねえ、やっぱり前列と後列のテンションが違う。
前列の方が熱いなぁ。
何で後列は全然盛り上げなかった（＞＿＜）

Anyway, back to the concert itself...

They were really good with MCs.
Usually artists get awkward during MCs cos of the language/culture differences (so something funny might not be translated well) but nope, they didn't have that problem at all.
Some artists might get too serious and bore the crowd with mundane talk but the girls were really charismatic. Part of it might be cos of how they seem to have unlimited energy too.

One thing though.
Why do artists like to sing Let It Go so much when they come to Singapore?
Lol.
(Kazuki sang it during flumpool's live back in August)
Okay, I get it, it's easily the most famous English song that most people know...
But...
Ha...ha...
:X

I was very impressed with the stage and lights too.
Despite it being a small venue, the effective use of lights engaged the whole theater. It's as if the stage does not just consist of the middle block but where the whole crowd stood too.
The whole concert was like a showcase of beautiful lights.

とにかく、楽しかったﾍ(ﾟ∀ﾟ*)ﾉ

First meal

Back to updates about my Hokkaido trip.

The first meal there was...extravagant.
Hmm. Actually extravagant isn't even sufficient a word.
The meal was so expensive, probably the most expensive I've eaten in my 20 odd years of live.

(There's no justice to the fact that I can't upload HQ pictures :( )

Ta-daa.

Crab sashimi, kuro maguro sashimi, abalone sashimi, grilled (?) abalone.
All the sashimi *w*

The seafood was really, really fresh and the crab sashimi was sweet and juicy. It was my first time trying crab sashimi and I wasn't sure what to expect. Daaaaamn it's good.

And the kuro maguro sashimi.
No word for how delicious it was.

I must say despite the fact that the meal cost a bomb, it was absolutely worth it.

Yup, I'm dedicating one single post to the most expensive meal I've ever eaten up till now.
More updates to come~

(And yup, I've finished unpacking my luggage last weekend ^^)

Flowers

(Hi to whoever that's reading this entry)

Anyway...

I went to Hokkaido with my family (Family aka Mum and cousin's family etc) last week.
Well, not last week, the week before the last.
It feels so long ago (even though part of my luggage is still unpacked, yup, they are still in the luggage. Just some random plastic bags and stuff like that).

I'd say it was not a trip I enjoyed that much. First of all, some really unhappy things happen (adults can be really stubborn and immature sometimes don't you think so?). Second, I was following a tour group. Not personally too fond of following tour groups since you've got a timetable to follow, everything's rushed and you're basically on a coach most of the time.

"Time for lunch."
"Time for sightseeing. Be back in an hour."
"Time for shopping. You've got...Oops, half an hour to get everything you need."

Sounds like some pet training. And that sucks.

The plus side, meals are taken care of. I mean, I PAID for it, and yup, pretty good meals. Accommodation too. No need to fret over the super complicated Japan subway lines.

UNHAPPY THINGS ASIDE. The things I get to experience in the trip were great though.

This time we went to the sub-urban (even rural) areas of Hokkaido. It's something I've never experienced before, being born and raised in a super modern city like Singapore. Their super slow-paced life gives you this feeling like nothing's bad ever gonna happen. Oh did I mention there are rarely PEOPLE on the streets? Cars, maybe a few from time to time but people?? Where have they all gone to? Lol. Seriously, try walking down their streets at 8 pm and not freak out. Impossible.

Anyway, I'm too lazy to continue writing.
Basically...
Food was great (the portion, though, is enough to feed me for weeks).
Beautiful scenery.
Really fresh air.
A tad too cold.

More updates to come~
