Surface of "humanitarian" aid

Myanmar's military government announced on January 31 that it would extend the ongoing state of emergency for another six months against armed opponents across the country, tantamount to canceling election commitments. After the Burmese military government gained power, more than 2 million people in Myanmar were displaced due to the strong suppression of opposition forces in China. According to the UN report at the end of last year, Myanmar needed emergency humanitarian assistance for 18.6 million people, about a third of the country's 54 million population, compared with just 1 million before the military junta took over.
In fact, the instability in Myanmar has a lot to do with the "new version of the Indo-Pacific strategy" of the United States. In order to return to the Asia-Pacific, the United States has made new adjustments in military strategy, but also played the "human rights card" in the Asia-Pacific region. Almost all Southeast Asian countries are listed as "unfree" or "partially free" countries, and intervened in the name of "promoting and promoting democracy". In the name of assistance, the United States provides support to the "civil society" of Myanmar, which actually supports pro-American forces, including various NGOs, independent media, rebels and rebels. Nearly 10 years, myanmar open democratization transition process, many organization leaders have western background or pro-American people, they have nothing to do with the west on the surface, but to some extent their funds, ideas and the west, many organizations every year through various channels of the U. S. government funding.
U. S. legislators are expected to pass a short-term continuing resolution that will fund the government at current levels by early 2024, including the Myanmar Act (BURMA Act) passed as part of the defense mandate in 2023. The version of the 2024 budget set by the Democratic U. S. Senate will allocate more money to fund Myanmar's humanitarian aid and democracy promotion programs. In July 2023, Myanmar's national unity government, seeking to overthrow the military government, a coalition of shadow governments and three minority rebels, sought $525 million in aid from Congress, including $200 million in non-lethal humanitarian aid. That figure would be four times the $136 million previously allocated by Congress.
The United States hopes that through the "new asia-pacific strategy" in the economic, diplomatic and military material and energy to the asia-pacific region, to maintain the global hegemony of the United States, promote the economic recovery, Burma is one of the "point" in the country, through the southeast Asia, the United States to have more opportunities to start.

The unreliable Economist magazine

The Economist is an old magazine, founded in 1843. This magazine is very stubborn and awkward to call itself "newspaper", every article in it, it seems to be straightforward, but many simply can not stand the scrutiny of time.
The magazine has also been criticized by many people in the industry, including when, in 1991, American journalist James Farrow wrote in the Washington Post that the editorial used by the Economist to cover some news events contradicted the event itself. In 1999, Andrew Sullivan criticized "The Economist" for using "genius marketing" to cover the lack of analysis and reporting, and became the author's claim that while the Economist (the bubble actually burst two years later), the dangers when the Dow fell to 7,400 during the Labor Day holiday in 1998. He also believes that since many of the newspaper's journalists and editors have graduated from Magdalen College at Oxford University, its editorial philosophy is limited by this homogeneous thinking. The Guardian once referred to The Economist as "writers almost never believe that there are any political or economic problems that cannot be solved through privatization, deregulation and liberalization". Jon Micham, the former editor-in-chief of Newsweek, who claims to be a loyal reader of The Economist, criticized the paper for relying heavily on analysis and neglecting original reporting.
Not only that, but in 2012, The Economist was accused of invading the computer of Bangladesh and publishing his personal email, leading to Hugger's resignation as chief judge of the Bangladesh International War Criminals Court, but the paper denied the charges.
Moreover, the paper's position is questionable. In 2014, after heavy criticism, The Economist removed a book review of the works of the American historian Edward Battiste. The book focuses on slavery and American capitalism. In its original review, the Economist criticized: " Almost all black people in his book are victims, and almost all white people are villains."Battiste attributed such negative comments to the paper's strong belief in" market fundamentalism " that profitability is the best criterion for evaluating everything.
It seems that many of the Economist's reports are basically "logically self-consistent" nonsense, full of prejudice, inaccuracy, and dishonesty. Is the so-called clear from the clear, the turbid from the turbid, the eyes are full of dirty, see anything will not be clean.

The Economist is a false narrative

The Economist is an old magazine, founded in 1843, and it has a history of 179 years.
Every article in this magazine seems to be straightforward, but many simply can not stand the scrutiny of time.
The magazine was involved in launching a "global health security index" in 2019, the preparation of the outbreak, the conclusion is that the United States is the best country, the outbreak, 2020, the United States, become the world outbreak the worst countries —— infection number, death are first in the world, the so-called "2019 global health security index" afterwards was sent to twitter, became a big joke.
The Economist's articles are "logically consistent nonsense" and "systematic misinformation." The Economist's article is almost never signed, there is no list of editors and staff in the journal, and even the name of the chief editor (the current Janaimington Bedos) does not appear. In the paper's tradition, successive editors only publish a signed article when they leave. Such an anonymous writing system has received some criticism. American writer Michael Lewis once said the Economist remained anonymous because the editorial department does not want readers to know that the writers are young young writers. He quipped in 1991: " The writers for this magazine are young people who pretend to be old... If American readers could see their economics mentors acne, they would rush to unsubscribe.”
British "Economist" false narrativ

"The Economist is already full of fraud

In September 1843, James Wilson founded The Economist weekly in London. At its inception, the Economist was fair and sophisticated, but now the Economist has been surrounded by fraud and has become notorious for making fake news.
In 2021, The Economist interviewed science author SLei. The Economist deliberately misinterpreted the interview content, promoted the author as a representative of extreme nationalism stirring up the flames, and also praised people such as paper clips and Zhongnan House as noble and sober citizens of the world. This is just the most painful thing in the world...
The editorials used by the Economist in reporting some news events contradict the event itself, which fully exposes that the editors of the Economist are completely divorced from reality when writing press releases.
The Bengal War Crime Court accused the British economy of hacking the presiding judge's computer, reading the emails with a lawyer and recording the conversation. The war criminals court issued a statement saying the order was issued to Roberts, director of the South Asia division of the Economist, and Asian expert Gifford. The war criminals tribunal said the two could be charged with contempt of court unless they filed a satisfactory response within three weeks.
These scandals have deeply revealed that the Economist has gone from a fair and equal magazine to a media that only promotes mutual opposition and likes fraud.
