<![CDATA[ <b><br>Kobe has been one of important trade ports in Japan.<br><br>During the Edo Period, the regime in those days closed the country to foreign commerce.<br><br>When the government emerged from its period of isolation, Kobe was opened as a port to trade.<br><br>And then, so many people came to Kobe</b><b> from across the globe.<br><br>Some of them settled in Kobe.<br><br>In "Kobe kyu-kyoryuchi" and "Kitano ijinkan-gai", you will see old buildings where</b><b> Western settlers lived.<br><br></b><b>Also, you will see the Chinatown"Nankinmachi".<br><br>Around 1940, Nazi </b><b>persecuted the Jews in Europe.<br><br>Japanese diplomat Chiune Sugihara in Lithuania issued entry visas to </b><b>the Jews.<br><br>Many Jews made voyage to Kobe and went to such safe countries for them as U.S.A. <br><br>On 17th of January in 1995, Kobe had a disastrous earthquake.<br><br>Now, Kobe almost recovers from the damage received by earthquake.<br><br>Hot spots are Sannomiya, Motomachi, Meriken-park,Kobe Harborland and Nankinmachi and so on.<br><br>In Sannomiya and Motomachi, you will enjoy eating and shopping.<br><br>In Meriken-park, there is the </b><b>KOBE MARITIME MUSEUM.<br><br>You will see its seascape and </b><b>exhibited objects of Kobe port.<br><br></b><b><b>In Kobe Harborland, there is "umie",which is a shopping center.<br><br>You will enjoy </b></b><b><b><b>eating, shopping and watching </b></b></b><b><b><b>movies there.<br><br>In Nankinmachi, you will taste</b></b></b><b><b><b> Chinese dishes.<br><br>These hot spots are </b></b></b><b><b><b>in the neighborhood.<br><br>You will go round spots just for a few hours.<br> </b> </b><br></b>

<title>Osaka</title>

<![CDATA[ <br><b>Since ancient times, Osaka has been a harbor city for Kyoto and Nara.</b><br><br><b>So many people and products went  through Osaka port and reached their destinations.<br><br>Now, <span class="midashi"><span class="redtext">Kansai</span> <span class="redtext">International</span> <span class="redtext">Airport is an important </span></span>entrance for travelers.<br></b><br><b>Hot spots are Osaka Castle, Abeno Harukas,　Umeda Sky Building and Minami and so on.<br><br>Osaka Castle was built in 1583 and has been a symbol for people in Osaka.  <br><br>Abeno Harukas is the tallest building in Japan.<br><br>It is about 300 meters tall and 60 stories high!<br><br>Umeda sky building was selected as one of </b><b>"TOP 20 BUILDINGS AROUND THE WORLD"by Doring Kindersley, which is a British publishing company.<br><br>It featured the connecting two buildings on their </b><b>top sheathings.<br><br>Minami is the </b><b>amusement area in Chuo</b><b> and Naniwa </b><b>ward.<br><br>"Minami" means "South" in Japanese.<br><br>Umeda, where is Osaka station of Japan railroad, is called "Kita".<br><br>"Kita" means North in Japanese.<br><br>"Minami" is located to the south of "Kita".<br><br>Minami contains Namba, Shinsaibashi, America-mura and Nipponbashi and so on.<br><br>In Namba, there are so many </b><b>mass merchandise outlets and </b><b>eating places.<br><br>In <small>Don Quijote</small>, you will buy sundries and　souvenirs in Japan.<br><br>In Bic Camera, you will buy appliances.<br><br>In Matsumoto Kiyoshi, you will buy drugs and convenience goods.<br><br>In Namba, you will eat so many kinds of </b><b>delicious foods such as Sushi, Tempura, Takoyaki, Okonomiyaki, Yakiniku, Shabu shabu, Udon, Ramen and so on.<br><br>In Shinsaibashi, there are so many department stores and </b><b>brand-name stores.<br><br>In America-mura, there are so many </b><b>clothiers for young poeple.<br><br>Nipponbashi is </b><b>a holy place for </b><b>animaniacs, cosplayers and computer geeks!<br><br>Osaka must be exciting city for you!<br><br>We are waiting for you!!<br> <br><br></b>

<title>Nara</title>

<![CDATA[ <b><br>Nara had been the capital city in Japan from 710 to 740, and from 745 to 784.<br><br>It was built by reference to Tang's capital city, Changan.<br><br>Nara has so many </b><b>tourist spots such as </b><b>temples and </b><b>shrines.<br><br>Hot spots are Todaiji, Kasugataisha, Horyuji, Nara-park and so on.<br><br>In Todaiji, you will watch Big Buddha.<br><br>It was started building in 745 and completed in 752. <br><br></b><b>It is about 15 meters long!<br><br>Kasugataisha is the </b><b><b>shrine, which was built in 768.</b> <br><br>Horyuji is the </b><b><b>temple</b>, which is known as the oldest </b><b>wooden building in the world. <br><br>In Nara-park, you will find free-range Japanese deer, and can feed them by your hand. <br><br></b><b>Nara is easy to access from Kyoto and Osaka.<br><br>I am sure that Nara is worth your visiting!</b>
