The degassing bagging machine (also called vacuum deaerator bagging machine) is a piece of special packaging equipment. It is based on adding a set of degassing mechanisms to the semi-automatic bagging machine to meet the customer’s demand for degassing. Generally, we use a high-density degassing Filter for packing.

Using degassing packaging equipment can improve packaging efficiency and reduce package volume. It is often used to package solid powder materials with high air content.

We are delighted that a customer from India ordered an automatic bagging line from us for handling coal material. Let’s learn more about this packaging project together.

Process Description

The customer’s functional requirement for the whole production line is conveying + packaging. The material is fed into this production plant through an external conveying system and is packaged in two sizes: bulk bags + 25 kg open-mouth bags. Therefore, we designed a new bagging solution for them.

• The whole line includes:
• Coal Ash Silo
• Belt Conveyor
• Semi-automatic Degassing Bagging Machine
• Bulk Bagging Machine
• Automatic Bag Sealing Machine

The whole system is composed of conveying and bagging techniques. The belt conveyor is used to transport the materials and connect the various automated terminals. The vibrating screen is used to separate materials of different sizes. Then many bulk and degassing packaging scales complete the packaging process for the materials.

This is the gross weight degassing bagging machine onsite. There are 4 units. Their feed bin and material conveyor are connected. Their packing speed can reach 150 bags/hour, and the weighing accuracy can get ±0.2%.

They are also equipped with a dust removal port, which can automatically absorb the dust scattered into the air during the packing process and transport it to the pulse dust collector through the dust removal pipe.

This is the bottom load-bearing bulk packaging scale onsite. There are 2 units. Their feed bins are also connected with a material conveyor. Because of the height limitation of the conveying pipe, we used the bottom load bearing weighing method, with the load cell located at the bottom of the machine. It is capable of packaging at a speed of 10 bags/hour, and each tonne bag can hold 1 tonne of material.

The whole set of equipment automatically completes the process of storing, transporting, and bagging. Workers only need to fill and seal the bags at the end of the line, reducing the workload, improving productivity, and ensuring a clean environment.
