I played the whistle on stage last three times of the event with Michael from Longon, uk who is one of our performers and played buzouki and sings hoomie.

If tourists thought about me as Mongolian, our performance has a meaning in a way that an Eastern musician who plays a western music meets a Western musician who plays an eastern music. In fact on the last day, Micheal played morin khoor, which is a traditional Mongolian instrument. And I think our tune sounded very well. It was fun.

I really enjoyed playing with him.

It was sad to leave the event field where I worked for 2 months. The event seems to be held next year again, but I wonder if I will come back? I’d love to come back, though…..

There are lots of shops and restaurants at the event area.

There is one Japanese restaurant for some reason.

The sky of Mongolia is so large and so blue.

And at night it is so dark..

I had a nice picnic with my japanese staff and three Mongolian families who are doing workshop.

We went to a hill outside Ulaanbaatar. Fresh air, beautiful landscape and flowers gave us a perfect relaxing time.

We also found a type of raspberry, which was very small and difficult to find, but so good.

When we have stage performance, we also do some games with audience.

Then I have to do some translation on stage.

The games we do are arm wrestling and hoomei singing.

Sometimes it is hard to get audience to come to stage.

So far Japanese and Mongolian are very supportive with these

games.
