Team doctors began treating Wolfe on the bus, then summoned an ambulance to take him to a hospital, where the second year pro from the University of Cincinnati underwent a battery of tests Friday night and Saturday.

It was determined that Wolfe didn't suffer a stroke or a full blown seizure, but the Broncos didn't specify the exact cause of his symptoms, saying only that he was doing better Saturday evening and that he was alert and communicating with others

At USC, where Kiffin ran the defense from 2010 12, he learned first hand what Kelly's Oregon offense was capable of achieving.

Kiffin's comment came just after Oregon beat the Trojans, 62 51. USC surrendered 730 yards and nine touchdowns both school records.

The box score and its gory details offered the latest indictment on Kiffin and his 4 3 system that seemed incapable of counteracting the zone read, spread intensive offenses like the one Kelly foisted upon opponents.

"He's going to run his offense," Kiffin said of Kelly. "He doesn't care what you're doing on defense. And that's what he loves. And that's why he's good."

Kiffin's admiration of Kelly is evident. Asked if the 2012 loss to Oregon he suffered when he was at USC was the most overwhelmed he felt trying to stop an offense, Kiffin smiled.

"I kind of felt that way with Peyton Manning," he quipped.

Manning's Denver Broncos put up 51 points against Kiffin's defense earlier this month. Kiffin hopes Kelly's Eagles aren't nearly as prolific Sunday. But would he be surprised if they were? Not if he remembers his days at USC, where he first learned that Kelly's offense was the real deal.
